With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Glynn McClain (Mayfield, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Glynn left this world on December 12, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly West McClain; his siblings, Otis, Novis of Bill, W. D., Milton McClain, Dorothy McClure and Odell Wilkerson; and his parents, Wesley Wayne McClain and Ida Davis McClain Harris.
He is survived by: his son Gary McClain of Mayfield, KY; his grandchildren, Whitney McClain Hopperton (Derek) of Cincinnati, OH and Dustin McClain (Allie) of Murray, KY; his great grandchildren, Marcus, Katie Jane Hopperton, Brex and Elsee McClain; and his grandson-in-law Derek Hopperton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
