He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Stephens; and his parents, Ollie Stephens and Manon Story. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stephens; his children, Bobby Stephens (Jean) of Mayfield, KY, Lisa Hand (Dave) of Grampian, PA and Christy Prince (T. J.) of Sharon, TN; his daughter-in-law Cathy Stephens; and his grandchildren, Joey Elliott (Sarepta), Jamie Elliott (Alyssa), Jason Elliott (Norma), Josh Elliott (Melissa), John Kyle Stephens (Madison), Kayla Stephens, Haley Brown (Marvin), Matthew Grissom, Alex Insco (Lacey), Ty Prince (Haley), Carrie Maxie (Chuck) and Angie Rizzie (Jessie). He is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
