James A. Hobbs Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hubert and Betty Anna Davis Hobbs; his former wife Janice S. Hobbs; his siblings, Shirley Burgess, Richard W. Hobbs and Donnie Hobbs; his brother-in-law Larry Brumlow; and his great grandchild Jace Ryan.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Renee Brewer (Jeff); his stepchildren, Donnie J. Sterling and Debra L. Drum of Shawnee, KS.; his siblings, Junior Hobbs (Barbara), JoAnn Clapp (Larry) and Mary Grace Brumlow; and his friend Shane Jackson. He is also survived by three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (5152 State Route 384, Mayfield, KY 42066). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
