He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Byrd; and his parents, Rubin Byrd and Stella Pinion Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Byrd of Martin, TN and Lori Jacob (Shawn) of Lexington, KY; his sister Joyce Cox of Mayfield, KY; and his grandchildren, Kyle Lyons (Andrea) of Georgetown, KY and Hannah Jacob of Colorado.
