He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Davy and Maxie Brown (Griffin). He is survived by : his wife Mae Brown (Bagwell) of Mayfield, KY; his sons, Mark Drennon Brown of Mayfield, KY, David Craig Brown (Patti) of Elizabethtown, KY and James Spencer Brown (Lori) of Paducah, KY; his grandchildren, Eliot Brown, Jordan Brown, Garrett Brown and Alex Brown; and his great grandchild Geddy Brown.
