He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Michael Carter; and his parents, Warren McClung and Virginia Warner McClung. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Carter McClung; his daughter Casta Lancaster (O. J.) of Mayfield, KY; his siblings, Ronald McClung (Mary) of Farmington, KY and Penny Jonke (John) of Barberton, OH; his grandchildren, Husten, Karter Lancaster, Rosemary, Patrick, Robert and Joseph Halvorson; and his nieces and nephews, Jamie Thomas and Aaron McClung.
