He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Rivas and Maria Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Leda Rivas (Goyer) of Mayfield, KY; and his children, Jose-Andres Rivas, Joel Rivas, Sarah Rivas and Leanna Rivas. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; and several grandchildren.
