He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Clyde and Rachel Webb Goodwin; and his former wife Brenda J. Jones. He is survived by: his son John Michael Goodwin (Olivia) of Gallatin, TN; his grandchildren, Owen Michael Goodwin and Taylor Brogan; and his former wife Phyllis Canter Kelley.
