He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Grubbs and Bertha Ann Malone Grubbs; and his siblings, Michael Grubbs and Marilyn Wilborn. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Farrer (John) of Chesapeake, VA. and Mary Grubbs of Ashland, Ohio.; his grandchild Ashley Pothier (Mathew) of Roanoke, VA.; his great grandchild Millie Pothier; and his sister Linda Wallace.
