He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Truman and Dorothy Hord Strode (Wallingford); his former wife Doris Strode; and his sisters, Juanita Poe and Carolyn Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Strode (Figgins); his children, Jade Henson, Mysty Pfeffer (David), Shelly Moran (Rocky), Robbie Beckett, Daniel Strode (Melanie) and Amanda Truesdell (West); his grandchildren, Jessica Carlson, Leslie Hull, Rusty Moran, Erin Moran, Zane Strode, Nash Strode and Braxton Strode; and his siblings, Norma England, Linda Kay Curtis, Betty Cooper and Bob Strode. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Buffalo Trace CASA, Hospice of Hope, or the Tom Browning Boys and Girls Club.
