He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Leyendecker and Ida Tyree Leyendecker; his wife Erngard R. Ernie Bayerle Leyendecker; and his sisters, Mary Helen, Myra, Jean, Carol and Eva.

He is survived by : his son Jack Leyendecker (Heather); his granddaughter Felicia Leyendecker; and his sister Betty Nobels. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
