He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Florence and Margarete Newsome Florence; and his siblings, Daryl Florence, Bob Florence, Bill Florence, Scotty Florence, Randy Florence, Harold Florence, Leonard Florence, Lilly May Florence, Pauline Hord and Evelyn Hughes.
He is survived by : his children, James Ray Florence, Jr. of Maysville, Emaline Kirker of Maysville, Sherrie of Aberdeen, Anthony Florence of Flemingsburg, Teresa Florence of Maysville and Michael Wheeler of Ohio; and his brother Vester Florence. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
