He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ray Hurst and Mary Lou Vice Garrell; his former wife Nancy Hurst; his son Marcus Scott Hurst; his sister Linda Rae Ferguson; and his half-brother Leonard Allen Hurst.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Hurst (Jesse Hawkins) of Mount Sterling, KY; his sisters, Judy Holtman (late Jim Holtman) of Louisville, KY and Teresa Barnett (Chris) of Mount Sterling, KY; his grandchildren, Logan Easterling, Austin Hurst, Brandon Hurst, Destiny Hawkins, Gracelynn Hawkins and Christian Hawkins; and his great grandchild Luna Easterling.
