She was predeceased by : her parents, Tony Ezra and Flora Belle Jones Dugan; her husband Robert Scott Gilbert; her son Donald Gilbert; and her siblings, Tony Dugan, Jr., James Dugan, Billy Dugan, Jenny Lawrence and Wilma Mason.

She is survived by : her granddaughter Amanda Love (Sam); her great grandchild Emma Love; her daughter-in-law Sandra Gilbert; and her sister Beulah Gatherwright. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
