He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Marvin and Audrey Jean Cooper (Dean); and his wife Jane Cooper (Cracraft). He is survived by: his daughter Trudi Thacker (Barry) of Brooksville; his grandson Briggs Dean Bravard; and his siblings, Diane Cooper of Brooksville, Suzanne Weaver (Gene) of Maysville, Terry Cooper of Augusta and Michael Cooper (Cindy) of Brooksville.

Memorials may be made to Concord Cemetery.
