It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Kay Heminger of Maysville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Peed Turner and James R. Turner; and her daughter Brooklyn Neal Heminger. She is survived by: her husband Mark Heminger; her sisters, Janie McCormick of Aberdeen and Pam Trimas (Eric) of Chelsea, Michigan; her sisters-in-law, Gail Casselman, Gwyn Gallenstein (Joey) and Glenda Qualls (Jerry); and her nieces and nephews, A. J. McCormick, Dustin McCormick, Rachel Trimas, David Trimas, Kacie Casselman Brown and Logan Gallenstein. She is also survived by extended family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, or the St. Patrick School Art Department or the Brooklyn Heminger Scholarship Fund c/o MCTC.
