He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Purdon and Mary Alice Mack Purdon; and his siblings, Ernest, Eddie and Jean Florence.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Purdon; his children, Carrie Wilson, Karen Purdon and Kevin Purdon (Debra); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Shelton, Loren Henderson, Kiara Purdon, Courtney Cooper, Mark Cooper and Arron Cooper; and his siblings, Richard Purdon, David Purdon and Patsy Florence. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
