Joseph Henken Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 19, 2025, at the age of 70, Joseph Henken of McDaniels, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Henken (Elston) and James John Henken; and his son Michael Kiefer. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Henken; his children, Kristie Skees (Jason), Chris Henken (Melissa), Bryan Henken (Vickie) and Ashley Walling (Lonnie); his grandchildren, Bryan, Tyler, Jenna, Taylor, Shelby, Savana, Hannah, Lilly, Kash, Landon and Kyla; his great grandchild Florence; his stepfather Jim "Pop" Peyton; his brothers, Jimmy Henken (Connie), Ben Peyton and Rick Peyton (Lisa); and his sisters-in-law, Sherri LaPaille and Jaimie Warren (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In honor of Joseph, the family requests that contributions be made to Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, located at 2120 Lower Hunters Trace, Louisville, KY 40216.
