He is survived by: his wife Debra "Debbie" Hamilton Short; his daughters, Jamie Jones (Ryan) of Frankfort, KY, Chandra Traylor (Brandon) of Spottswood, VA and Mary Beth Fox (Adam) of Hattiesburg, MS; his brothers, Hershel Short of Mansfield, OH, Donald of Plymouth, OH and Gary Short of Plymouth, OH; and his grandchildren, Phoebey Poynter, Haylee Jones, Gavin Jones, Owen Traylor, Annie Traylor and Riggs Traylor.
