He was predeceased by : his wife Joann Holly Himes; his daughter Melody Sears; and his siblings, John Himes, Sissie Hounshell, Stanley Himes, Ronald Himes, Laura Lunsford, Harold Himes, Robert Himes, Mildred Banks, Roy Himes and Russell Himes.
He is survived by : his children, Crystal Roberts (Roger Parrett), Ernie Sears, Roman Johnson (Lisa), April Witt (Eugene) and Scottie Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.
