He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabe Fleming and Mary Bentley Burke Fleming; his daughter Lexis Diane Sparks; and his siblings, Raymond Burke, Jimmy Burke, Paul Burke, George Burke, Ernest Wayne Fleming and Betty June Burke.
He is survived by: his brother John Edward Fleming (Jackie) of Mayking; his nieces, Mary Mullins of Whitesburg and Samantha Fleming of Whitesburg; and his great-nephew John Edward Payne Cole. He is also survived by five nephews, and eight nieces.
