She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Sexton and Ida Amburgey Sexton; her former husband Delmer Lucas; her husband Dennis Profitt; her children, Jerry Lucas (Kathy) of Neon, Johnny Lucas (Sheri) of Kona, Tim Lucas (Kim) of Tennessee, Claude (Lora) of Ashland, Rick Lucas (Missy) of McRoberts, Benji Profitt (Pauletta) of Neon, Reta Gibson (Kenny) of Paris and Glenna Lucas of Campbranch; her grandchildren, Karri, Kristi, Josh, Celeste, Megan, Kelli, Kaci, Summer, Jordan, Jake, Hope, Cole, Lauren and Morgan; her close friend Teddy Mullins; and her sisters, Opal Bentley, Wanda Duncil, Inas Sexton and Hazel Gibson.
She is survived by: her brothers, Edwin Sexton, Robert Sexton, Lester Sexton, Arlie Sexton, Otis Sexton and Nathaniel Sexton. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Seco Freewill Baptist Church (375 Mink Dr, Neon, KY 41840). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
