We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 86, Ervin Messmer of Melbourne, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Messmer and Rose Messmer (Martz); his wife Peggy Bay Messmer; his brother Charlie Messmer; his close friend Carol Steffen; and his friend Jerry Schabel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurabeth Smith (David) and Naomijoe Craven (Donnie); his sisters, Loretta Guidugli (late Joe), Mary Smith (late Lou) and Martha Woeste (John); his grandsons, Dexter Smith (Anna), Dillon Smith (Rachel), Donald "Lee" Craven III, Colin Craven (Annie) and Bryce Craven; his great grandchildren, Isabel and Caden; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Messmer (late Charlie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
