We announce the death of Ida West Lindner of Melvin, Kentucky, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 105. Ida will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Wallace and Ada Martin Wallace; her former husband Roy West; her sons, Larry West and Dan West; and her siblings, Dorothy Nettleton, Priscilla Kaetzel, Eunice Skelton, Jim, Ralph, Ross and Norman Wallace.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Lindner; her sister Sue Wallace Mauck; and her grandchildren, Jason West, Dawn West and Stephen West. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bluegrass Baptist Church (210 New Coleman Ln, Georgetown, KY 40324).
