He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles Rice and Geraldine Witt Rice; his son Charles Robert Rice; and his siblings, Wadonna Seals and James Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Roxie Wheeler Rice; his daughters, Beth Rice of Keavy, Susan Bradley (Kendall) of Knoxville, TN and Lorrie Williams (Allen) of Corbin; his grandchildren, Shelby Crawford, Whitney Fitzsimons, Jeremy Logan Rice and Jaelynn Cassidy Williams; and his great grandchildren, Aubree Crawford, Luke Fitzsimons, Charlotte Fitzsimons, Elaine Fitzsimons, Kingston Williams and Poppy Kate Rice.
