He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Foster Wilson and Bertha Partin Wilson; his close friend Dorothy Gambrel; his siblings, Fayette Wilson (Elsie), Leland Wilson, Roland Wilson, Edna Sparks (Ancil), Lilly Lowe (Wayland), Ethel Lambdin (Walter), Mary Davis (Jay) and Pauline Campbell (Bill); and his nephew Charles Sparks.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Wylie (Mitchell) of Shelbyville, KY, Greg Wilson (Samantha) of Pineville, KY, Chris Wilson (Jenny) of Frakes, KY, Terry Wilson (LeeAda) of Pineville, KY, Ricky Wilson of Cumberland, KY and Teresa Whiteaker (Kenneth) of Monroe, MI.; his grandchildren, Spencer VanFleet, Chasity Wilson, Kaytee Moore (Larry), Taylor Harris (Aaron), Ryan Wilson (Brittani), Hunter Wilson, Shelby Wilson (Dalton), Bailey Wilson, Jonathan Whiteaker, Jennifer Sheroski (Mark) and Eric Wilson; his great grandchildren, Brayden Moore and Emmalese Moore; his siblings, Hazel Kukulka (Steve), Jeane Mills, Dennie Wilson (Juanita) and Jewell Long (Bill); his nephew Merle Sparks (Willie); and his sisters-in-law, Liza and Jenny Wilson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Cawood Funeral Home Chapel (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
