He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Jane Cox and Andy Morrison; and his brother Billy Ray Cox. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Theda Mayes (Marson) of Speedwell, TN and Brandon Cox of Middlesboro; his granddaughter Mikaela Mize (Jeremy) of Forge Ridge, TN; and his great grandchildren, Jerron Mize and Jaxon Mize of Forge Ridge, TN..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
