It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Allen of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Forster Allen and Bessie Marsee Allen; his wife Linda Allen; and his siblings, David Allen and Barbara Greene.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Allen (Melissa), Darin Allen (Sharon) and Jennifer Napier (Matthew); his grandchildren, Isaac Allen (Kaia Treadway), Ashley Wright (Chris), Gary Shackelford (Katie), Eric Napier (Hannah), Dexter Napier (Grace Hargraves) and Sarah Price (Eric); his great grandchildren, Shaileigh Wright, Nevaeh Wright, Darina Wright, Lola Shackelford, Madelyn Napier, Oaklynn Price and Lainey Price; his siblings, Sue Sparks, Margie Barnwell, Bill Forest Allen and Larry Allen (Jeannie); his girlfriend Virgina Korotenko; his uncles, Robert Marcum and O. D. Marsee; his cousin Bill "Hampton" Allen; and his close friends, Don Bathis "Donnie Ford", Kevin Hawkins, Jason Letendre and Jesse Hoover. He is also survived by his fur baby, Girl as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cawood Funeral Home (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Cemetery.
