He was predeceased by: his parents, Vibert A Smith and Allie Fair Terry Smith; his parents-in-law, Bay Rutherford and Martha Ann Rutherford; his children, Jeffery Smith and Julie Liane Smith; and his sisters, Gwen Brantly and Dorothy Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Mae Rutherford Smith; his sons, Robbie Smith and Kevin Smith; his grandchildren, Scott Smith, Chris Smith and Allie Smith; and his great grandchild Madlyn Elizabeth Smith. He is also survived by other relatives and precious friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
