He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Owens and William "Bill" Owens of Harrogate, TN.; his wife Bessie L. Owens of Harrogate, TN; his son Terry Allen of Columbus, MS; his grandson Randy L. Poore of Monroe, MI; and his siblings, Ruby Owens, Bonnie Cosby of Tazewell, TN and Roy Owens (Arkansas).
He is survived by: his children, Micheal Owens (Beth), Chester Owens, Jr. (Jean), Constance Jacobs (Bill) of Erie, MI, Crystal Willit (Fred) of Monroe, MI, Tina (Steven) and Brown of Harrogate, TN; his grandchildren, Micheal, Jr., Matthew, Jeremy Owens, Chastity Nickoles, Sarah, Stephanie, Ashley Owens, Kelly Wilkenson, Travis, Cori, Dylan Fichtner, Noah and Isaac Brown; and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Owens of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.
