He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Massingale and Mary Sturgill Massingale; and his brothers, Johnny Esaw Massingale, Henry Massingale, Calvin Massingale, Jack Mink and Jerry Mink.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Lankford Massingale; his siblings, Charles Massingale (Baxter), Tom Massingale (Nancy) of Tompkinsville, KY, Joe Massingale (Paula), London and Martha Hendricks (William); and his stepchildren, Amanda Middleton, Kelly Whitehead and Chris Whitehead.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Loyall Funeral Home (104 Wilkerson St, Loyall, KY 40854). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
