He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Evans and Hattie Evans; and his siblings, Harold Evans, Wilma Hensley, Shirley Welch and Wanda Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughter Jennifer Blakeman (Daniel); his grandsons, Evan Blakeman, Aidan Blakeman and Logan Blakeman; and his sister Carolyn Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Christian Church (2130 W Cumberland Ave, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
