James Douglas Orick Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Douglas Orick (Middlesboro, Kentucky), who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Orick (Eula Orick); and his grandparents, Rev. Ed, Gertrude Orick, Johnny and Geneva North.

He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Orick; his grandson Matthew Robertson; his mother Eula Orick; his siblings, Pam Marcum, Angela Ausmus (Mike), Brian Orick (Angel) and Ashley Cupp (Justin); his nieces and nephews, Amy Morrison (Jonathan), Sarah Ealy (Tyler), Adam Miller, Madison Heck (Isaac), Lillian Orick and Emilee Money; and his aunts and uncles, Brenda Rigdon, Judy Bayless, Thomas and Floyd North.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Green Hills Funeral Home.
