The memory of Janice Faye Cox of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Smith (Bragg) and Betty (Darrell); and her son Cristopher Dameron. She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Cox; her son Josh Cox; her daughter-in-law Heather Cox; her stepchildren, Rodney Cox, Kim Justice, Fred Cox and Don Cox; her grandchildren, Colton Cox, Cameron Cox, Cayden Cox, Peyton Cox and Paisley Cox; and her brother Dana Jones. She is also survived by one son together and five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (169 Forest Lawn Cemetery Rd, Pecks Mill, WV 25547).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Janice's memory may be directed to River Of Life Church of God.
