He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Mays and Jessie Mays; and his siblings, Patricia A. Cloud "Abby", James M. Mays "Milt" and Marcellus Mays "Mark".
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mays; his children, Amber Marie Mays (Jasmine Partin) and Johnathan Mays; his granddaughter Madeline Rose "Sissy" of Middlesboro, Kentucky; his siblings, Billy Ray Fulton of Pineville, Robert Cloud of Stoughton, Bernard "Fatman" Mays of Oshkosh and Vernora "Mouse" McCants (Samuel) of Akron, Ohio; his parents-in-law, Donnie and Bonnie Napier; and his close friends, Evelyn Collins, Ashley Carr and Yorkie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
