He is survived by : his daughter Jala Hart (Mike); his grandchildren, Kayla Bosley (Sean), Seth and Justin Hart; his great grandchild Milo Bosley of Indianapolis, Indiana; and his siblings, Eugene Bailey of Bloomfield, KY, Joe Bailey (Joanne) of Ewing, Lois Hill Appleby (Jim) of Ewing, Anita Froderman of Ewing and Lyn Swinson Bailey of Ewing. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Linda Goans wrote a sympathy message

“From time to time JB stopped and talked to me and PL. We loved every minute of it. He would often talk about my grandpa Millard Burke teaching him so much about cow's. One thing was Pap putting grass seed in the cow's feed. JB asked him why. Pap said that way when they poop, grass will come up in field. LOL It saddends my heart that I won't see him passing by my house every day waving and smiling. I'm praying for God's peace to comfort each of you during this time of sorrow Linda & Paul Goans”
