He was predeceased by: his mother Eula Jean Slife; his grandparents, Elmer and Kizzie Reeves; his uncle Bill Reeves; and his cousins, Luther Reeves and Elena Hembree (Janet Sparks).
He is survived by: his father Rex Slife (Rebecca Cody); his children, Brittany Sparks, Becky Phillips (David) and Matthew Deawayne Sparks; his stepsons, Steven Raymond and Dustin Raymond; his sister Mary R. Fields; his aunt Rita Harmon (Reed); his grandchildren, Chloe Nida, Blaine Baker, Kevin Baker, Brittly Cornish, Tatum Hoskins, Hayden Levi Sparks and Madison Collins; and his cousins, Tim Hembree, Trey, Gary, Tyler, Jeff Hembree, Bill Hopper and George.
In Lieu of flowers, the family recommends that all contributions be made to the Green Hills Funeral Home to help cover final expenses.
