He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clay Risner and Laura Denny Risner; his spouse Alpha Peace Risner; his son Thomas Clay Risner; and his siblings, Violet Risner Malanski, William Isaac Risner, Daniel Risner and Marie Risner.
He is survived by: his children, Micah Risner (Amy), Maranda Carver (Don), Lisa Harbin-Harris (Jeff) and Lana Harbin-Dugger (Ernie); his grandchildren, Thomas Risner, Bethany Risner, Amanda Shortridge, Devin Carver, Tyler Carver, Cheyenne Kindle and Kassee Kindle; and his siblings, David Risner, Phillip Risner, Samuel Risner, Ruth Risner Henn, Lilly Denny and Joyce Risner. He is also survived by great, grandchildren, as well as a great-great, grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Cawood Funeral Home (112 S 21st St, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
