He is survived by: his wife Jackie Cheek Hatfield Murphy; his sister Dorothy Cox (JC); his stepchildren, Jeremy Hatfield (Rhonda), Hope Garrett, Lonnie Garrett, Rusty Hatfield (Kelly) and Holly Hammontree (William); and his close friends, Kelly Seal and Andrew Hamlett. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
