The memory of Otis Emery of Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Emery and Ollie Early Emery; his siblings, James Emery, Norma Rodgers, Magdalene Mills and Maureen Jones; and his nephew Chad Emery.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte England Emery; his children, Michelle Carter (Mark) and Chris Emery (Niki); his grandchildren, Brooke Smith (Craig), Mallorie Campbell (Austin), Logan Carter and Amelia Rose Emery; his great grandchild Colt Smith; and his siblings, Nadean Meredith and Everett Emery. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hensley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (3242 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens (1805 State Hwy 441, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hensley Chapel Missionary Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society in Otis' memory.
