She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Venable and Louise Venable; her brothers, Bobby Venable and Robin Venable; her nieces, Lindsey Southern and Carrie Ellison; her nephew Steve Powers; and her brother-in-law Steve Agee.

She is survived by: her children, Carrie Alexander (Jared) of Corpus Christi, Jeff Gambrell (Carla) of Jefferson City and Brent Gambrell of Jefferson City, Tennessee.; her siblings, Marsha Abbott, Randy Venable (Shea), Roberta "Birdy" Agee, Teresa Southern, Barbara Venable, Joyce Powers (Marvin) and Bruce Venable (Yvonne); her brother-in-law David Southern; and her grandchildren, Makenzie Gambrell, Piper Gambrell, Brody Kennedy, KC Alexander, Madison Gambrell and Makaylie Gambrell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Northside Baptist Church and Cook Pleasant View Cemetery in memory of Regina Lynn Venable Gambrell.
