He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy McDonald Vaughn and George Vaughn; his wife Sharon Costanzo Vaughn; his great-nephew Seth Vaughn; and his brother-in-law Tom Armstrong.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lee-Anne Vaughn and Martha "Marty" Vaughn; his brother Donnie Vaughn (Sandi); his nephew Bobby Witt Vaughn (Stephanie); his niece Kari Peace (Jeff); his great-nephews, Craig, Cyler and Cory; his siblings-in-law, Ann Armstrong and Bob Costanzo (Charla); his nieces, Danielle Wilson (Andrew) and Emily Baker (Jake); his great-nephew Walker; and his great-niece Alice Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Community Room of the New Building at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College (100 College Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bell County Historical Society, Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College, or Friends of the Bell County Animal Shelter.
