He was predeceased by: his parents, Beno Johnson and Nadine Rhea Johnson; his grandparents, David, Sarah Johnson, Frank and Nettie Rhea; his wife Marian Bennett Johnson; his brother Tony Johnson; his cousin Danny Johnson; and his nephews, Billy Waldron and Allen Hall.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Minor, Joy Hewett (Jack) and Lauren Johnson; and his grandchildren, Brittney Horton, Jordan Hewett and Jake Hewett. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tommy's name to Blackmont Baptist Church or Northside Missionary Baptist Church.
