She was predeceased by : her husband James K. "Buddy" Johnson; her daughter Amy Jo McDaniel; and her granddaughter Katie McDaniel. She is survived by : her daughter Mary Beth Kiger (Derry); her grandchildren, Edwin Rye (David), Elizabeth Woods (Michael) and Doug McDaniel; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Quinn, Gentry Woods, Sara and Seth Coomer.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Midway Christian Church (123 E Bruen St, Midway, KY 40347). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
