He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Bernabé and Estela Espejo; his wife Irene Malpica; his children, Roberto Bernabé Malpica (Burnis), Alexis Rincon, Angelica Bernabé Malpica (Evaristo), Denice Bernabé Malpica, Luiza Bernabé Malpica and Jenifer Bernabé; his grandson Giovanni Martinez Bernabé; and his siblings, Raymundo Bernabé (Susana), Tomas Bernabé (Marta), Alfredo Bernabé (Juanita), Ismael Bernabé (Paula), Maura Bernabé (Federico), Berta Bernabé (Benito), Amelia Bernabé (Jaime), Guadalupe Bernabé (Javier) and Yolanda Bernabé (Siro). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
