It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Ann Franklin of Millstone, Kentucky, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lela leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Everett and Euna Creed Johnson Franklin; and her brother Benjamin Franklin. She is survived by: her siblings, Roger Wayne Franklin of Springfield, Jesse Bill Franklin (Barbara) of Travelers Rest and Judith Carol Hampton of Millstone; and her sister-in-law Cora Lee Franklin.
