He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Decker and Mallie Geary Decker; his former wife Pansy Payton Decker Lunsford; his wife Sue Tomes; his children, Debbie Yates and Wayne Decker; and his siblings, George, Roosevelt Decker, Ora Travis, Mary Mudd, Mildred Nash, Aline Cummings, Alice Decker and Sarah Stinson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Edgley (Brett) of Fort Valley, Georgia; his daughter-in-law Evelyn Decker; and his brother Harrison Decker. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
