It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Brooks of Millwood, Kentucky, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Roy and Eva Higdon Mercer; her son Charles William Brooks; her grandchildren, Danielle Brooks and Aaron Lee Haynes; and her siblings, Roy Mercer, Connie Stevenson, Abbie Jane Barrett, Danny Mercer, Cindy Mercer, Fay Brown and Delores Ann Mercer.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward Brooks; her daughter Charlene Haynes-Jaggers (Dennis); her grandchildren, Sabrina Tomes (Travis), Tamarya Brooks, Samantha Haynes, Kimberly Swift (Danny), Andrew Brooks (Jessa) and Allan Brooks; her great grandchildren, Mya, Aaron Parks, Madison, Ava, Izriah, Charli, Waelyn, Eleanor and Amelia; and her brother Johnny Mercer. She is also survived by two other great-grandchildren.
