He was predeceased by: his mother Zelma Stockdale McDole; his wife Georgia Marie Powers McDole; Serenity Thevenow. He is survived by: his son James R. McDole, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio; his sisters, Joyce Waters of Louisville and Frances Setliffe of Louisville, Kentucky; and his nieces and nephews, Paul, Jennifer and Jamie. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews.
