She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Nelson Ellis and Alice Camille "Polly" Chatham Ellis; her former life partner Michael Pittman; her husband Mark Beach; her stepfather John William "Jack" Miller; and her brother-in-law Robert Bruce "Bob" Hall.

She is survived by : her close friend Richard McMahan of Carrollton, Kentucky; her children, Polly Ellis of Madison, Indiana and Larry "Joe" Young of Madison, Indiana; her grandsons, Cody Young (Gabby) and Chance Young; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Jayden; and her siblings, Charlotte Hall of Madison, Indiana and John Miller (Tina) of Noblesville, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
